‘Carols by Candlelight’ Conductor praises Cadenza
‘Carols by Candlelight’ conductor, Robert Howarth, is full of praise for Cadenza’s performance at the Usher Hall concert on 23rd December 2010, particularly under what he described as “quite tough circumstances”. He said he “thoroughly enjoyed working with Cadenza” and went on to comment:
“It is always satisfying having at your disposal a choir that can react to new musical ideas quickly and meaningfully. They blend well as one instrument and seem alert and willing to give their best. To have them so well prepared made my life not only easier but it was a genuine pleasure to work with them.”
He added that he very much hoped he would have the opportunity to work with Cadenza again in the future.
