Cadenza’s new CD, Bright Star – Cadenza at Christmas is one of only three recent releases highlighted by music critic Phillip Sommerich in the 1st December issue of Classical Music Magazine.
From recommending it as a Christmas stocking filler, he explores the background to the CD in discussion with Cadenza’s Musical Director, Jenny Sumerling – why Cadenza chose to record a CD of entirely contemporary and mainly Scottish Christmas music, for example, and focuses on some examples of the carols.
