Renowned Britten expert to lead Cadenza’s annual workshop
Renowned Choral Director and Britten expert, Paul Spicer, is to lead Cadenza’s annual workshop on 8th June. Paul is best known for the many CDs he made with the Finzi Singers, as well as other highly acclaimed CDs of Stanford part songs and music by James MacMillan, and is in demand to give workshops all over the world. We are honoured that he is to work with us on a programme to include our 2013 Fringe Concert repertoire. We warmly invite other choral directors and singers to join us as observers – and join in Paul’s energetic warm ups! See the Workshop flier or concerts page for more information.
Previous workshops have been led by Edward Caswell, another widely respected choral conductor and member of the Dunedin Consort, and Ben Parry (composer, conductor, arranger, singer, producer, and now Director of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain), who subsequently became Cadenza’s patron.
