£1120 raised for St Michael’s in Linlithgow

The choir were delighted to once again perform in the magnificent St Michael’s Parish Church in Linlithgow on Saturday 29 April 2017 – and were even more pleased to learn that £1120 was raised for the church as a result! This money will go towards an ongoing project to redevelop sections of Cross House, a wonderful community resource belonging to the church.

The scope of the project is substantial, encompassing re-plumbing, re-wiring, improved disabled access and upgraded kitchen and toilet facilities. We enjoyed a well-earned cup of tea in Cross House in between the rehearsal and the concert itself, and it is very busy throughout the week with community activities too.

If you were not one of the many appreciative audience members – or even if you were – you have a the chance to listen to the repertoire again this coming Saturday 6 May at St John’s Church in Edinburgh. This forthcoming concert will be our last charity concert of our 2017 spring season, and is in aid of the wonderful work of Cyrenians in Edinburgh. We hope to see you there!
