Fringe Box Office Sell-Out

Cadenza’s annual performance in the Fringe is on 25 August – and still with a few days to go, we’re delighted to say that the Fringe Box Office has completely sold out of their allocation of tickets! But don’t worry – it’s not too late! There will still be tickets available on the door – so be sure get in touch with us to reserve tickets, or to get to Greyfriars Kirk early to guarantee your seat at one of the hottest tickets in town! Doors open shortly after 7pm, with the concert itself starting at 8pm.

This year’s concert celebrates Leonard Bernstein, with a performance of his Chichester Psalms 100 years to the day of his birth. Other highlights include Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater, Debussy’s Trois Chansons de Charles d’Orléans and a very special arrangement of Elgar’s Nimrod set to the words of Lux Aeterna. We’re delighted to be joined once again by Morley Whitehead (organ) and Lindsey Martindale (cello), while we also welcome back Alistair Rankin (percussion) – all of whom have previously performed with us. We’re very pleased to have Sophie Askew (harp) and Carlo Massimo (treble solo) complete our talented array of musicians, with all of them – and the choir – under the skilled musical direction of Libby Crabtree.

If you want to ensure you are part of this special event, here are some options:

  • Get in touch with us via our Contact page
  • Send us a message via our Facebook page
  • Speak to a choir member
  • Get to Greyfriars Kirk nice and early on Saturday to buy a ticket on the door – the concert starts at 8pm, and doors will be open shorty after 7pm

We hope to see you – and a whole load of other people – there!
