Cadenza on Classic FM – Monday 17th December, 6.15pm
Coventry Carol (track 5 from Cadenza’s new CD, Bright Star – Cadenza at Christmas) is to be broadcast on Classic FM on Monday 17th December at 6.15pm, as part of ‘Making Music at Christmas’, their collaboration with Making Music.
Making Music supports voluntary music across the UK and Northern Ireland. Scotland alone has around 250 member groups (including Cadenza!) from Shetland to the Borders, so our application to Classic FM has been chosen from potentially hundreds of others.
The track will be played during John Brunning’s Classic FM Drive programme. One particular highlight is Drive’s weekly Featured CD: a new album, from which they enjoy a track around 6.15pm. Timing of the broadcast is a little fluid, so Making Music recommends tuning in by 6pm if you want to hear Cadenza (and what – if anything – John Brunning says about our CD).
