More Radio Play for Bright Star

Listen to Cadenza via BBC iPlayertis the season to be on the radio, it seems!  Alan Bullard’s Scots Nativity, track 4 on Cadenza’s recent contemporary collection of carols Bright Star, was played on BBC Radio 3’s Breakfast show this morning.  You can listen to the broadcast as often as you like up until Friday 20th December via this link to the BBC iPlayer – skip to around 1h 8min in to hear us.  A fan of the choir, Ian Brockbank, requested the track and provided a short introduction to the CD and why Scots Nativity in particular stands out for him.  Clemency Burton-Hill referred to Bright Star as “proving very popular with lots of you” in reference to the number of listeners who had been in touch requesting tracks from it.

Of course, if one week isn’t enough time to hear Scots Nativity you can always buy a copy of the CD on our website, or even download it from iTunes, Amazon, Google and more.  Full listings of the CD, inlcuding details of where to buy it, are available on the Bright Star CD page.  The mix of 22 carols with a Scottish flavour will go down a treat as a stocking filler this Christmas!
