Cadenza at Christmas
There’s a little over one week to go until Cadenza’s Christmas Concert – but our Christmas season has already started! Cadenza have already taken part in Waverley Care’s Sing a New Song competition on Saturday 27 November. Cadenza performed all six finalists to a busy St. Cuthbert’s Parish Church in Edinburgh, with the early snow a wonderful festive backdrop. Congratulations go to the winner of the competition Hermione Roff for her composition The Vigin’s Song. Runner-up was Stef Conner with This Endris Night, and the audience award on the night went to John Hearne with There’s a Song in the Air. Well done to all the composers! You can read more about the night on Waverley Care’s website.
If you missed that opportunity to hear Cadenza at Christmas, fear not! Cadenza’s own Christmas concert takes part in Polwarth Parish Church on Saturday 11 December, starting at 7.30pm.
